Our spring requalification for internal auditors took place from 30 to 31 May in Stuttgart.

The participants have refreshed their knowledge regarding current topics of the automotive and supplying industry and have achieved the requalification as a system, process or supplier auditor.

The main topic this time was the new automotive standard IATF 16949:2016 and its requirements. The participants were informed about the operative implementation and our referee Dr Schneider answered questions in detail about certification requirements in the automobile industry. In addition, experiences were exchanged as far as first implementations and audits of the IATF 16949:2016 were concerned.

The highlight was the visit of the Porsche plant in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. There the participants could get an impression of the know-how and accuracy during the manufacturing of the high-quality Porsche cars. The following tour through the Porsche museum gave an interesting insight in the history of Porsche.

After practical exercises were carried out in small groups, the final exam took place, supervised by Dr Schneider and the witness auditor Mr Weschler.

All participants have passed the test. Congratulations! We hope to see you (again) next time. Our fall requalification takes place on 6 and 7 November 2017.
