Stefan Kiendl and Hans-Jürgen Thews will report on the second day at the congress from 11 a.m. in the trade forum 1 on, for example, stakeholder management as requirement for the lean company, customer, quality and lean concepts as the core corporate strategy and organizational changes that follow strategies and processes pursuant to the value stream.

Innerhalb von 8 Monaten gelang Kiendl LeanConsult die Umstellung bei Thornlighting vom klassischen Materialversorgungskonzept mit Gabelstaplern zum schlanken Logistikkonzept Milkrun. Über den Einsatz von Low Cost Automation (LCA) und Fahrerlosem Transport System (FTS) wurden alle Endmontagen sowie große Bereiche der Vorfertigung optimiert. Zudem konnten sowohl Leerguttransporte als auch die Abfallentsorgung in das Milkrunprinzip integriert werden.

Within 8 months Kiend LeanConsult successfully restructured internal logistics at Thornlighting. From classic forklift-based material supply to lean milkrun logistics concept. In all areas of final assembly as well as pre-fabrication low cost automation (LCA) and unmanned transport systems (FTS) were introduced. Furthermore transport of empties and waste management were integrated in the milkrun principle.
